Starcraft 2: Scantipede
Concept and final textures by Mr. - - Jack, modeled by Phill Gonzales.

Animated by Trevor Jacobs and Steve Provost
At this point I will admit that I was super lazy and made Mr. - - Jack do most of the work. After going through all the Zerg units and buildings I’d lost my willpower to make fresh renditions of toothy, spiky, segmented bug-creatures. This critter also has one of the most epic death animations thanks to Steve Provost.

The Scantipede was always my favorite critter... Wonder what would happen it the Zerg assimilated them into the Swarm...
"Scantalisk" has a nice ring to it...
Oh, one question... (You don't need to answer if Blizzard prohibits you from answering questions while HoTS is in development).
I know you guys at Blizzard have come up with several new worlds and environments for HoTS Multiplayer; does that also mean new critters as well, or do you plan on sticking with what you have?
