Starcraft 2: Zerg Ultralisk Portrait

Early on in Starcraft 2's development the artists were given time to get accustomed to high resolution sculpting in Zbrush by doing unit portraits, the Ultralisk was my practice piece. The visual style of portraits was much more simplistic initially, but as the game's visual styles settled in the portraits became a bit grittier so the Ultralisk got a slight touch up from a coworker.

the origional head was way better. it was otherworldly and truely alien. this is really cliche. like every other space monster
