Starcraft 2: Tauren Space Marine!

Samwise did this artwork as a promotional piece for his band Level 70 (at the time) Elite Tauren Chieftan’s appearance at Blizzcon. I was pretty intent on modeling this character out as an easter egg in Starcraft 2 and started working on him in the fall during my free time. Things really got busy on the Starcraft 2 team and I didn’t get much progress done with this character until a couple weeks before April. I was given permission to finish the model as on official task and soon after the Tauren Space Marine was finally in Starcraft 2. The Tauren steals the Marine Rifle and the Marine’s animation rig which was easily adjusted for bovine proportions.

Please can we has Draenei Zealot next? 
Seriously, maybe Blizzard could put it to a vote as to which WarCraft race (preferably Alliance, since there have been Orcs, Tauren, and Murlocs used already) should be depicted in SC2, and as what race. Top vote getter could be added as a mercenary unit in a future expansion, while #2  could be added as portraits for unlockable achievements or something.
